I doubt he is any different than he was here. But having better pieces around him could only help Well, he did grossly underthrow Hazzelton a few dozen times before Darrell decided to transfer, so there's that. I wish Riley the best and truly hope he does well, but I don't see miraculous changes in his game. He has to learn to look-off safeties, consider multiple options, avoid pocket floating, and just unleash his powerful arm. That's a LOT to ask in one year, especially while learning a new offense.

This tweet from HUntley is also really good news.. He had a foot out the door but I think Gilberts transfer changed his mind

If your right Farva he will have made a big mistake by transferring. I think he will go to the P5 program that is the most desperate & will play enough to show if he is a P5 level player. I sincerely HOPE, as a Ball State fan and someone who's really pleased by how Riley Neal has represented Ball State throughout the years, that he goes somewhere and just plays lights out and make everyone look stupid, then gets a shot at the pros. But, what I hope and what I believe are just two different things. OfficerFarva, seems like throughout the years most if not all QB's at Ball State have been a great representation of Ball State.

Good for James! It sounds like they are really thin at RB, so he should get plenty of touches.

He goes to a big 12 Yet somehow we couldn’t get him enough touches at Ball st. . We failed to utilize him.

Neu has signed his own death papers in my eyes. It will be complete if we don't win at least 6 games next fall.

We should all know by now that just because you go somewhere doesn't mean you are going to play.

He was demoted this year. He didn’t get nearly the touches he should have. You didn’t see the article about about the demotion and the “injury?” On top of that Neu questioned his effort.

That and there were some grumblings about things he was willing and not willing to do as a RB.
