Ok guys is Whit at point he will bring in even as walk on Parker Hazen? His JC stats were only fair (8.5 ppg & 6.7 rebs IA West) & I suspect he will have tough time getting scholarship offers at a D1. He is no different player than his brother to me but if Teague moves late we may need a stretch for a body. you think I Teague is gone after this year? That would be a brutal blow.

I was looking at JUCO's this morning to see who might be available, quickly noticed Buffalo has signed three of the Top 25. We are never going to catch-up to them. One JUCO who did stand out we need to take a look at for 2020 is Jalen Moore (Cloverdale). He tore it up as Freshman point guard. www.olneycentralathletics.com/sports/mbkb/2018-19/players/jalenmoorezv4nI'll take small athletic point guards all day long.

Anytime you take a 5'9" guard at D1 can he outscore the guy he guards? Can he get off his 3s with somebody in his face. Olney is not known for playing the best competition. I suspect he is likely to be playing in a higher level JC next yr & not jumping to D1.

I don’t know, ask Ray McCallum if a 5’9 guy can do it.

The MAC has always had great 5’9 PGs. If a kid is quick enough he can play. Persons was a bigger pg but wasn’t really quick enough.

This is THE question of the off season, isn't it? Does anyone have a good grasp of how the timing of these things usually plays out? Is there a date beyond which Whitford can breath easy?

Ok they are D1 but will still be surprised if he is not playing next yr at another JC. He is no doubt extremely quick & the recent games show half the points are from free throws. So is he better than Cooper Neese?

We should know on Teague in the next couple of weeks. I think there is also a reasonable possibility Gunn goes elsewhere.

To immediately play after a transfer, a player has to graduate, correct? Otherwise, he'd have to sit out a year.
