You don't get to be a General by second-guessing yourself.

Right. Once I got my General Studies degree, I never looked back.

Well, maybe the best not involving Longwood.

Time will tell and it's a total crap shoot for sure. The Colts are suffering from horrible drafts, especially first rounders, the past ten years. Bjorn Werner anyone?
I read today that rather than just protecting Luck, which makes sense, that the two guards drafted in the first three picks will hopefully (not a strategy by the way) give the Shoes a chance to become a running team (imagine that in Indy!) and create some balance in the offense and keep opposing defenses honest as opposed to our forever-philosophy of be the 30th ranked run offense and a top five pass offense. That strategy may have worked with Manning, but Luck is not Manning...not close and even Manning had Edge and Addai and even Rhodes at times to run the ball. Feel bad that Gore never got to really suit up with Luck very much. He deserved better that Brissett.

Any colts fan with a lick of sense should be hysterically freaked out about Luck still not throwing a football. It's just common sense.

To my great relief and surprise, Luck SEEMS to be on track for a nice comeback. Keeping fingers crossed.
My biggest concern now would be overall lack of quality at critical positions on the defensive side of the ball, and lack of depth at OT. This is what you might expect when you use multiple recent high round draft picks on interior offensive linemen. I guess the plus side is that Nelson is looking good, so we should be able to keep the opponents' 3rd best pass-rusher in check most games.

Nelson will give much better chance the Colts running game will include plays where a QB is not running for his life. The pass rush may not be able to T off on the QB as much AND if they can use some shorter passing plays that pass rush problem may not be quite so severe as recent past.
Defense will continue to be a question mark it appears.
