Last year I had a lot going on and became a fair weather fan on a lot of sports. I have to say it didn't make my life worse. I think I'll have a lot of free weekends this fall.

Now that we've added some needed depth at Corner with Lenzy Pipkins, Ballard should start looking at WR's. I hear the following might be available: Bubsey Sprinkles, Gigly Tickles, Doopsey Dinkle, and Snuggles McCuddlebug.

I don't always agree with Gregg Doyel, but it's highly entertaining listening to him bullying the Colts' organization. It really makes me appreciate how much brainpower the Colts had back when Manning and Polian were still around. Those guys weren't perfect, but they were a lot harder to make fun of. Probably because they were a lot more intelligent and didn't do all the stupid shenanigans the current regime has done/continues to do.

But in the end also some missed defensive plays were typical of a young team and the fumble at the end is just football.

Colts didn't look as generally terrible as I feared, but if they are going to win as many as 8 games, Bengals at home is one they should have got. As expected, the offense looked decent, and the defense bad. You would think that the mostly young defense can be expected to improve as the season goes on. Luck was pretty good, but as I have said, he needs to be great for the colts to win.
Didn't see all the game but had a much better feeling about the game planning and play calling. Not that I could have had much worse of a feeling compared to the last few years. |

Colts blew it to which we all agree, however, I made a prediction when some were debating how good Luck could be again, where I said he could be in the top 5 by mid season..after one game he is 6th I believe in rating.
