1,2 and 5 are all serious problem areas next season, and 4 is an area of concern with Teague graduating this spring. You should never be in a position where you are hoping a Freshman might be able to handle the point. Teague is a junior. Or are you expecting him to go grad transfer? There will be interest in him as a grad transfer, I have no idea if he is interested or not. I could see someone like Cincinnati making a play for him. The thing is if he feels he may have to play post next season the odds of him bolting go way up.

Great perspective and I agree. I am hearing Thomas is the real deal. The problem I see right now is the point guard position. Everyone that I talk to thinks bum is going to be a very good MAC player and also hear he is tough as nails. You back through the years and we have had some question marks at the point that turned out pretty damn good. Randy Zachary and Jamie Mathews come to mind. Bum is going to have to play from the get go so we will see. If he is as tough minded as I am hearing, he will be fine. Yeah I was thinking Mikey Hosier also. I would add Randy Davis, but I don't think he was starting until his Sophomore year.

But he will not be posting up on offense. Certainly not a classic 5 position.

Honestly, who gives a shit about next year right now. The season is just beginning, can’t we enjoy the present right now! We have good talent for next year, but at this point we should focus on the now. Some of our young talent and new talent appear to be coming along, if they do this could be a good year. Wednesday night’s game will be interesting to watch. They are not the same as last year and neither are we. Go Cards

So only talk about today or stfu? Not necessarily, but don’t dwell on next year.
