That may be true for today.. There were only two of these miscues I noticed today and he did appear to be more active. So I will agree he was better today. I really though the days of Teagues magic disappearing act were over but he was a non factor today. I hope and pray he does not start that shit again if he does we are doomed

Mallers hasn’t really been good since.... early. He’s not exactly a defensive stalwart either. Don’t know if it’s worth giving Gunn a shot to try to shake things up. Bad starts on offense are too frequent. Need someone to steady thr ship. Persons has been bad two in a row.

Guys I can’t argue with most of the assessments but the coaching has been atrocious the past two games. Whitford May be the worst I’ve seen at stemming an opposing run or adjusting to an opponents strengths. He does nothing but cheerlead and call the same plays over and over. Never lights anyone up and when we go bad he is supposed to right the ship. He does neither. The past two games he’s been awful. Not having us ready to play today was inexcusable and his tolerance of mediocre effort in favor of supporting his guys is misguided. You’re not helping them your killing them. I expected Hazen to be the guy by now but his back derailed that.

A Herman Boone quote from Remember the Titans. And this is 6 years in. He’s just too dispassionate and analytical. Isn’t able to adjust to the moment or in the moment. You’re right, he’s too often more of a cheerleader/trying to develop men than a coach. (Allowing Tyler to burn him so many times is a byproduct of Whits mindset). Allowing Persons to whine all game, get in whits face and try to call the shots is another issue.

I watched the Clemson coach light up players and asst coaches in that first quarter Monday. He appeared to go overboard, but he got results.
If you expect mediocrity, you get it. That’s why we are what we are and folks get critical when a few expect better.

Calling BS was anyone better than Persons today?! You're asking the wrong question. The better questions is, was anyone worth a crap today? The answer is no.

Why are so many acting surprised? What of Whit's coaching moves in the past ''20 win'' seasons would lead one to believe it would turn out differently? The turds are dropping (as they have in previous years) and now because of a premature extension we might be stuck with him for three more mediocre years. If the AD does not dump him, he will recruit sub-par athletes and leave the campus with NOTHING in the cupboard.
