I will remind us even me that we were on a pretty good winning streak until we went to a short bench...hopefully, Ish and Hazen are back soon. Actually Kid, I'll remind you that Hazen hasn't played since Dec. 1st and didn't suit up the game before that against Tiffin so we were 6-1 without him prior to our current swoon. Ish went out on Dec. 20th and we won the next two by 49 against Delaware State and by 25 on the road versus Toledo. Not questioning those two are not needed or missed, but our recent play has been far more about effort, lack of adjustments/fundamentals and overall poor play, not bench depth. Others areas of caution for managing expectations. There is no guarantee either Hazen or Ish will be back this season. One has a lingering and chronic spinal issue that apparently can flare up when he PLAYS! What happens when he gets contact and hits the floor? The other had surgery and who knows the real versus anticipated recovery. Could be 4-6 weeks but you never know. Equally important is this. Even if both make it back next month at some point, how long will it take to get back in game shape, get your timing and touch back, get back into a rotational flow to contribute? I don't know but missing half the season and trying to come back the last 2-3 weeks is a tough ask.

Yep. Too simplistic to just say we’re missing two reserved and that’s why we went in the tank. After a huge road win without them. And it’s only January. Now if we’re out two starters....
I considered the same points about their Recovery/returns as well. Hazen could be sidelined again after two games or so. And might need to look at maybe he should retire if this thing can crop up every year.
Ish will need time with that wrist even after he comes back.
Our better bet is to not worry about those two and instead clean up the act of the guys we have.

Wish we still had that banging hammer emoticon

Best bet is to get those guys back by the end and power us on a strong close for a change.
