I don't know how Reich can survive this crap if there's not a miraculous turnaround and they start winning. Not sure Ballard should survive because he put together this severely flawed roster.
Gus Bradley is already a complete failure and a bad hire.

Gus Bradley is already a complete failure and a bad hire. The defense did enough to win. Jacksonville looks like they are improved on offense. The Colts needed complete dominance to stay in this game the way the offense played.
The receivers injured, failure of backups, and failure of the OL to protect the QB were pretty glaring. Might have survived all that if they scored in the red zone every time and didn't kill themselves and keep giving Jacksonville the ball instead of controlling time.
OL might have been able to run block and ride their ace RB if they had managed even an overall mediocre job, especially early on, but when forced to pass block they were just not good...

The Colts OL is so bad. I hate to say it, but Pinter is getting manhandled. He is not starter material.

Pinter was better at center. Kelly is terrible now and smith is a shell of what he was.

Pinter was better at center. Kelly is terrible now and smith is a shell of what he was. After listening to Romo today and really honing in on the offensive line play in the second half, it absolutely looks as if there are some serious issues with communication between Ryan and the line. Too many guys coming free and most are happening when the defense is blitzing and bringing extra guys. The good news is that is fixable with more reps. A lot of the schemed pressures are coming from the right side and up the middle. Pinter did get bull rushed on one of the sacks but most of the pressures were from guys that were not accounted for. The colts are going to have to go up tempo until this is fixed. I get it today as they were trying to keep Mahomes off of the field. I am not impressed with this receiving group though Pittman is very good. Long way to go so we shall see how this shakes out.

The offensive line and receiving corps are the two glaring problems with this team.
And how can you stand to listen to Romo?

I like both Chris Collinsworth and Romo as broadcasters. I think they combine solid knowledge and preparation with a certain amount of likability. I'm always a bit puzzled by the hate I often seen thrown their way.

Probably they can the line to work and tweak the offense. Especially to get run game going.
Receivers are the gamble they made. Rookies looked better, but a lot hangs on limited deep threats.
Right now he doesn't have enough time to go deep so solve that or go hurry up and play action.
The QB looks OK until they get all over him...

Pinter was better at center. Kelly is terrible now and smith is a shell of what he was. Kelly now needs lots around him...Smith a mystery. What happened is strange there. Pinter may just not be a starter, but a very good reserve a jack of all trades.

Really good dude, very personable and approachable, and knows how to set boundaries with fans.

He just asks that people respect his time and not be intrusive. Example, if he’s eating at a restaurant, ask for an autograph after he’s finished, don’t interrupt his meal.
You know… just be a decent human being and he’ll accommodate whatever. Stuff you shouldn’t have to ask people, they should do that anyway.

The left side of the offensive line perfectly represents the Colts' roster strategy in microcosm. At the least important position, left guard, the Colt's actually used the #6 overall draft pick and have now committed an unprecedented and cripplingly huge amount of salary cap. At the vital position of left tackle, they are bringing in warm bodies from Wheeler Mission.
Note that the Colt's and their assorted media toadies have never and will never explain what shortcomings that dictate that their exorbitantly expensive asset can't fill the desperate need at the more important position. They are frantically moving other players around, but they obviously have reason to believe Nelson simply can't play left tackle. Explaining this honestly would mean backtracking on years of bullshit spewed about Nelson and won't ever happen.
This roster fiasco is the major reason the colts currently have the worst O line in the league when combining sacks, rushing ypc and penalties, and also a major reason they've scored the fewest points in the NFL. Note that the usual reason offensive lines are terrible...injuries...are not to blame here. their offensive line injuries have been below NFL average.
Who could have ever seen this coming?
