That could be some big NIL money there at Bob's - they have 2 kinds of music there to support it - Country AND Western. I think Bob's has financially recovered from a huge hit they took a while back when a band drank up their liquor stock, then took off without paying. I'm fairly certain Jake was writing a travelers check when all hell broke loose. |

I was perusing other teams schedules and Miami Ohio is playing a very Indiana heavy ooc schedule.
Evansville
Goshen
IU
ISU
Calumet
Saint Mary of the Woods
They must have noticed all the success we’ve had against IU Kokomo and Oakland City and they want a piece of that.

They just could not find any other teams for that date so he got stuck with Earlham. He was pretty clear about that. Whitford would have scheduled them intentionally. |

I know I listened to it. Just having some fun. But …….. lol Well yeah, if Whit did that, HELL TO PAY! ;-) Whitford scheduled the wrong patsy in that Northern Michigan school. Many lessons in that game.
That was a team built to beat us when they were shooting well. I don't know if it was just that game or that was the way they always played. They were disciplined, and ready, and played to their strength. Their style exposed our defensive pack line philosophy with its lack of aggressive defense.
On the other end, we did not attack their defense effectively inside, and did not hit our shots outside enough to survive. We would to often miss, they hold the ball for 25 seconds and hit a shot...get back quickly and wait for us to self destruct.
Bottom line we were not ready for that kind of fight.
At least it was fun to be back in Worthen for live basketball.
