All this above being said, if one is a member of the MAC and runs the table during the regular season, said team will be ranked in the top 20-25 at the very least if not higher. Go figure. That is not likely to be true in the new world of college FB.
And it may be less likely to happen that a team can accomplish that sweep, the players you need to have to do that are going to be called up to the majors and every team will be without those stars we often saw in the MAC as juniors and seniors.

I don't think so this year. Every MAC team already has at least 2 loses. Most years yes, a MAC team that loses an early game to a big-time program then runs the table gets top 20-25 status, but I don't think we've got anyone that meets those qualifications this year. |
