If it worked in the first half we might not complain so much...

I think whoever made the Riley Neil comparison was spot on, except for the fact that Riley could run. Short/quick passes. I’m not sure we can expect the passing game to improve this week especially if our top 2 WR are out.

The hit JJ took vs. Uconn, I'm not sure how he could play this week. Tyler has a bruised chest. That might also be a no go. But, maybe we'll get to see some of our young guys more. Presley can run, allegedly, so I'd like to see him get some shots in the open field. Plus Abdur Rahman has talent.

Imagine what Carson Steele could do if defenses has to respect our passing game.

Imagine what Carson Steele could do if defenses has to respect our passing game. In theory the play action should occasionally allow him to break through since the defense suspects short passes off the same offensive look.
In practice, he does best when just hits straight ahead quickly and apparently defenses can read that.

We have a long completion of 38 yards 18 of those yards were YAC. Our longest pass in the air covered 20 fucking yards, Awful Two words.....another Lynch... play caller, OC

Both Jackson and Tyler are going to try and go. Jackson appears to be in better shape than Tyler today. Does not sound like neither will be 100 percent

I won’t be surprised if we’re down some starters tomorrow. UConn game was rough.

Best Case scenario all three starters will play at WR but not 100%
Worst case none play. Insert Presley Dean Tate and Mcculley Those receivers are 6,0 5,8 and 6,0 with little exp
Both Hunt and Koziol also not 100%
Reality a mix of the above happens

If I were Jackson, I'd get in Paddock's face about that throw and many others. Paddock either holds onto the ball way too long or throws it before he's even collected the snap. He hung Jackson out to dry on that play, and Jackson was lucky to get up from it.

Paddock was about an hour late on that throw and he hung Hunt out to dry in the first quarter.

It's a winnable game.
The Lynch play calling is as follows: 1. Run for 6 yards 2. Incomplete 3. Incomplete 4. Punt
Or 1. Incomplete 2. Run for 5 yards 3. Incomplete 4. punt
I hope I am not the only one that noticed 2020 was the only year we did not have a lynch calling plays and won a bowl game and mac title.....
