Sounds like everyone is discounting the chances of Blazek, Cobb and Semonza (if he arrives). I don't think anyone is discounting them, but the staff sure has. All 3 have been highly heralded...just odd that Cobb nor Blazek were even mentioned as possibilities this year. Cobb was 2 on the depth chart all year but immediately jumped when push came to shove by the guy who had not taken a single snap at qb since early spring that’s weird. Semonza is going to come in and go for it if it’s a real comp

Transfers who moved up & played would include James Gilbert who was the leading RB in 2019 at Kansas State with 737 yds when Huntley stayed & he left. Riley Neal was the starter at Vandy in 2019 throwing for 1585 yds & started 11 games. Gilbert was a loss. Neal was not.

Maybe the new offensive scheme for 2023 vacates the typical pocket passer that Neu has been so fond of?

So hard to believe that we couldn't have a very effective play action game with Steele. I know Paddock was inaccurate, but still. Maybe next year they will get dynamic. At least I hope so.

That freshman from Cali would have to be really good to come in and start right away. I would like to see Kelly run the offense for a year and then it’s a true QB controversy. No one asked me though.

I have not see Semonza or Blazek in game situation, I have seen and am impressed with what Kelly was able to do in a small window of opportunity. So, open up the competition, get the best QB to win games. Use data to drive your decision, coach Neu.

Walk-on. Good for him. He stuck it out in Muncie and gave it all he had when given the chance. He’ll probably never take a snap in Champaign, but I hope his last year as a college football player is a blast.
