The only option is redshirting at this point if he's still not healthy. If he is healthy enough to play just play him in 2 of the last 3 games and still redshirt him.

Evidently we just can’t coach for shit…. That's gotta be our new recruiting angle. Hey kids, sure you can go to a SEC or Big 10 school where you'll get best best athletic amenities colleges can provide, you'll get a great NIL deal, and you'll get to go up against the best competition out there. But that doesn't prove how tough you are or how good you can be. If you really want to test yourself, come to the MAC where schools like Ball State, Kent State and Bowling Green will provide you the challenge of having to overcome some of the worst coaching Division I football has to offer. If you can make it at our schools you can make it anywhere! |

Evidently we just can’t coach for shit…. That is becoming more and more clear every day. This staff has recruited a stable of highly touted QB's and each and every one of them has seemingly gone BACKWARDS during their time in Muncie. I'm so ready to move on from this staff. |

He threw for big yards to bring us back vs NIU last year. Yet in most games down the stretch he was ineffective. I tend to think the offense was just too restricted. It was hand off to Steele every down and don’t throw on first down. Not sure our route trees were very good and the protection wasn’t good. Wrs weren’t very good. Basically a total system fail. It sure looks like paddock can sling it if he’s just cut loose and let to just throw it. We saw it again this year with Hatcher. Came to us having thrown for a ton of yards and tds and yet we can’t complete a pass. Perhaps our offensive coordinator runs a shitty system and can’t game plan and it wasn’t all on Paddock or Hatcher….

I thought Paddock was our answer to Miami’s Brett Gabbert. Has moxie. With the receiver and RB talent at IL, I think Paddock’s ceiling is higher.
Our offensive scheme seems to have a governor imbedded in it - very restricting. I wonder how Nate Davis would fair in the BSU offense today? Would he even start?
