Proof to cardfans post. We are playing better now offense looks better. Its not because of the designed plays its the adlib or broken play thats keeping us in it. Its the choice part of the rpo.

Another maddening thing... We have some really young kids that could have played these last 4 with no penalty. Still could redshirt.. Where are they standing on the sidelines. Why are they not getting vsluable snaps.

I don't think Neu ever thinks of playing more people. He is solely concerned with winning the game & playing his best people. Last year it made more since as we played lots of close games & were competing for a bowl slot. This year it makes no sense & his job is certainly up in the air or gone already.

Why are they not getting vsluable snaps. RIGHT? At this point what would it hurt to try a couple of the young guys, especially where we have weak spots. We play the same WR every game and every game they don't really produce. (not all on them, we gotta get em the ball sometimes. When we do, sometimes they punt sure TDs (Barfield/Magwood) Our WRs don't seem to get separation and routes aren't very crisp. Do they get open and we just miss them? Do we ever attempt to throw to guys like Nick Presley? He's out there a lot yet is invisible. Is he not getting open or do we just not include him in the offense. The most amazing thing is totally avoiding Koziol. Thank goodness Kelly got him involved late vs. NIU. How but we try RJ Mukes out there? Thacker? A couple of freshman WR with potential. Why did Barfield get buried? Just because he dropped that pass, or are they just that wedded to making sure Pemberton gets carries to keep him happy? To me Barfield looked the quickest of our backs. We've had opportunities to develop young guys the last 3 years and we've just not done it.

Paddock 507 yards. Here he did not have time for the most part to even think about passing the ball because of poor OL Against IU he had about an hour to throw the ball and did he deliver. He is a transfer from Ball State for a good reason same for Carson. They ae allowed to fulfill their potential because of better coaching and better players backing them up

Steele has seen his carries and production drop off the past two games. He has almost 750 yards & 6 TD's but he's on track to have half the carries and yards as last season. I'm not sure Chip Kelly has a feature back in his system. The loss Saturday to Arizona was a crusher.

UCLA totally collapsed down the stretch. The loss to Arizona St. was really bad. ASU was down like 14 players. UCLA's qb's are dinged up to the point former Kent QB Schlee started and did nothing till even he got hurt. Saw an article where the defense was grumbling about the offense. Trouble in paradise.

I wonder if when the offensive players are being comped through NIL with more $$$ than the defense, if it becomes a point of contention when the offense is not producing.

We've had opportunities to develop young guys the last 3 years and we've just not done it. It would be interesting to know if other programs do this as a practice. Avoiding injury would be a reason they wouldn't. You have to show it in practice to get in the game and from what I understand some players don't show it in practice. You can disagree with the decision but Barfield's drop is why he dropped and he was #3 on the RB depth chart to start and moved up because of injury. His best game was against Indiana State, with all due respect. Two other RB's are averaging more YPC with fewer carries. Cooper gets the overwhelming majority of the carries as did Steele before him so I can't imagine any competitive player would be happy to get the ball 4-5 times a game. No clue on why Koziol disappeared from the offense, especially when the best ball Kelly throws are short intermediate routes. But at this point what do any of us know? Very few things this staff does makes sense including developing players.
