I think we are considered a tough out in the tourney. A wild card of sorts. Not sure we can put 3 straight great games together though. You never know in a 3 day event.

Im guessing Dollar hot dogs and dollar draft beers coupled with 5 dollar tickets |

And of course a long tenure with Mark Few.
Not exactly a model of us to follow, it was no turn around but an evolution where they planned for an athletic department centered on basketball since the 1990's. Stuck to the plan.

Last night's game was a nod to the heritage of Indiana basketball. Muncie Central and Milan, Daleville and Anderson etc. also the movie Hoosiers. Kent State, the bad guys bullies of the MAC vs. play basketball the right way Cardinals.
We won in spite of some serious doubts of getting blown out by Kent. I didn't think we would win but we did with decnet defense and great rebounding. Carry had sorta of an off night but those 3s that he hit were a thing of beauty.

He was able to get by us but we had help near the rim which caused him to take circus shots My take on Carry is that he's a pretty sneaky scorer who lulls you to sleep. I don't think he cares much for playing defense the right way (lots of grabbing and pushing), nor does he like being played physically by defenders. |

an off night where he only scored 21 but you never felt like he had that many. He was not controlling the game as he usually does

Agree our defense at the rim really caused Kent problems. No easy layups like last time. Grabbing and pushing is Kent's MO. They had refs last night that called them on it .
