Another idea - about free admission if show a Ball Sate ID for any year you attended Ball State! I wonder how many people actually kept an ID and know where it is. I did for a couple years but after several moves and 20 wallets. God only knows where it is |

Ft. Wayne and Indy need to be bombarded with ads and commercials----two biggest Alumni bases. ( I think I have said that a thousand times since the Buckley years...) Must agree - you have to spend money to make money by filling the arena! They've been promoting Ball State basketball in the Indy market all season. It's been on 107.5 FM, which I think is the big sports talk radio station in Indy and is in the form of a "sponsorship" for one of their "hotlines" or some such thing. Might just be on their morning show, but I think I hear every morning on the way to work "brought to you by Ball State basketball." And Lewis has been interviewed on that station more this year that Whitford was in 9. Maybe that's just that he's more outgoing and willing or that we're winning more, or maybe it's because there's a bit of a business partnership there now. |

Or maybe my daughter's diploma ... I paid more for that. |

Still time for you to rent a Gulf Stream and be in Muncie in 3 hours. The savings that you gain from $ hot dogs and very cheap or free beer would go a long way in paying for the Gulf Stream or second thought a very short way.

Allow any high school student with their high school ID to set in the nest, free admission, and nest t-shirt! Damn, work hard to fill the place. If they were really serious they’d give away the silver/bleacher seats for free. Give free parking to everyone - fill the gym to the rafters!!! |

Not sure why - I guess because my photo has a nice crop of hair. Have mine for ‘75, plus all my grade reports for my last three years after returning from the Navy. All “A” but maybe two! Prior to the Navy, the girls were all “A” with one being an “Angel Flight” senior. She was an A+. Another was sort of crazy. One got me involved with heading up Bobby Kennedy’s primary campaign for President. Girls, girls, girls! Grades were a secondary thought! Navy got me focused on grades! Though my Public Speaking instructor was beautiful, and the red head in the class was not far behind. College years were fun… |

Question? Aren’t the first 4 seeds basically settled? And if so, does it make sense to put 3-4 of our players on the floor or go with the bench more so we go into Cleveland full strength?

Toledo would clinch the #1 seed with a win. If Kent wins and Toledo loses on Friday I believe Kent will be the 1 seed based on head-to-head tiebreaker. They only played once this year and Kent won. I'm not sure who I'd rather see in the tournament. I kind of wrote off Toledo after we beat them in Toledo, so I'd been hoping Kent and Akron would be together on the other side of the bracket and we could get Toledo in the tournament. Toledo has been beating the tar out of everyone for the past two months though, so no matter where we land we're in for a tough road. |

High scores in most their games though. If Sparks is healthy I don't think they can stop us scoring. I'd rather trust our offense in a shootout than trust the refs who give Kent an advantage with their D. Playing in Cleveland gives Kent a chance for a big crowd. Toledo, too, but they are not as physical and gain less advantage from refs.
