This looks right to me. I had been thinking about tie breakers in terms of us and one other team...all of which we would lose. I did not look at three team tie breakers, which could eliminate WMU rather than us....assuming all the necessary results for the final games. So, you see, we can still have March Madness with BSU Basketball. You just have to follow the lead of some on this board and lower your goals and expectations to the necessary level New Banner: 2024

It's like the lawyers have taken over. Maybe the MAC should just go back to 5-12 playing-in games at the home courts of teams 5-8. What the hell will they do after the MAC expands to 13 to 16 schools? |

If our expectations are to play up to potential every game, that's good.
We do that and get another game, that's good.
I'd start next season with the same definition of expectations, but expect to add personnel giving us higher potential, and that we play up to that potential more often than we did this year.
Lewis will make that happen. In this portal era we won't keep everybody, but I don't want 6 new faces with 8 players without a D1 game.

So they carefully screen their hires for stupidity and inability to draw logical conclusions. Not surprising they would get this wrong. |

You of all people should appreciate the MAC genius at living in the glory of their past history.
The MAC is remarkable in it's dedication to a formula that worked so well in the last century , a conference dedicated to being the "Little 10" built on football. They have not allowed themselves to be distracted by these faddish modern developments like big budget football, TV, NIL, and conference realignment.
Entering MAC world is like traveling through a time warp to the 80's and before.

So sweet beating Kent. Both teams without star players so this was not a fluke. Reggie Bass and his showboating didn't make a difference along with the Ohio Mr. basketball. So proud of the effort of the team. Hope they have a little gas in the tank for BG

In a lot of ways, this was one of the best performances I've seen recently. Whit's player never improved. These players have. I thought Hendrichs was a wasted scholarship, but Lewis worked with him and he has responded. Maybe my favorite player is Mason Jones. Man, he is everywhere, diving for balls, guarding their best player, now if he developed his offense...
