Not going to say alot but it appears all the keys to the offense have been handed to Elliot, All of them... We will not be able to blame Mike or Kev this year... Offense will be Pro Style

Offense will be Pro Style So if it indeed is a true pro style oline is going to need to be good.. Rbs good and TEs and Wrs need to block well This also limits Usage on Kelly unless he can run it. His packages will be easy to defend if not done right

I like the pro-stye offense assume we have an effective running game and a QB who can extend the play and throw the ball down the field.

Spin again Vanna. Could land on the Prize Puzzle. Only took 8 years for a pro QB coach to embrace a pro-style offense.

Offense will be Pro Style A Pro style offense better matches the personnel we will put on the field…I’ll take you at your word that Elliot won’t get overridden but I have my doubts. It rarely works when the person who used to have the job is still on the team…

The most recent BSU Daily News online article says Coach Neu has no plans to use Kelly on offense in any capacity as of now. Yea someone explain that flip flop.. Neu said the exact opposite two weeks ago in a media day interview... Before that spent 5 minutes on the radio show talking about all the offensive usage and thats jusr video and radio he spoke of usage in almost every interview he had all off season

Two questions: The DN article says that Kelly has never played defense. I thought there had been earlier comments about his having played DB in high school Who is likely the back-up QB, Chase Harrison ??

Both good questions but the thing that stood out to me is neu flipping saying we will not see Kelly on the o side in a capacity
Kellly played D on scout team and a bit in high school
Harrison looks to be back up

Totally agree, Rob, that it just seems nuts to, all of a sudden, COMPLETELY flip on all that's been said, especially when it adds to the offense. That said though, maybe the logic is to allow Kelly to completely work on the defensive side of the ball without interruptionS.

My guess is Kelly will start at QB against Miami and this is all a ruse. I would be worried about exposing our plan, but nobody at Miami can read.

The doubt and indecision of how to use Kelly continues to drain or at least strain the self confidence and self worth that exists. If the level gets too low like Lake Mead did then the bones and all the other broken objects are exposed. In people those objects are the emergence of self doubt. I would like to see Kelly transfer as did Jon Paddock to get out from under the bull shit of ineptness holding back the journey of becoming. I hope this statement is totally wrong and this will be a season of fulfillment. I read today an article ranking the 30 worst stadiums in the country. The MAC had 5 out of the thirty. Kent 17, Buffalo 23, NIU 25, U.Mass 26, Ball State 28, Akron 29. Also IU at 11 and Vanderbilt 4.
