The "facts" are not only unclear, but how or whether there is any resulting problem, or its cause.

"Calling for a revolt is a something more " No one called for a revolt............ See Sherman's post, "The fanbase should be in outright revolt over this situation." Maybe you missed that. Or, perhaps your post means we agree that this is not something to make a big deal of at this point.

Good God......... Revolt as in upset, dissent, opposition.
Not "calling for a revolt" which strongly suggests a physical uprising.

No need to quibble around about this. I call for a revolt. "Revolt!", I say.
The fanbase should have revolted when Buckley was extended, and should have revolted when Taylor was extended and should have revolted when Whitford was extended. Each case demonstrated clearly how readily mediocrity is accepted, no - actually rewarded, around here.
But you didn't. Your reward for your latest acquiescence is to have your face pushed down and rubbed in excrement, as the recently extended coach can't be troubled to stay around Muncie for recruiting or other program building activities over the bulk of the summer. Apparently, the BSU basketball coach position is now viewed as a 9 or 10 month job. You deserve what you have got, what you are getting, and what you will get.

Be careful what you get when you revolt. You could end up with Fidel Castro for sixty years!!!!! This is not a Banana Republic. Let's see some possible replacements that are realistic. Some people think, ''Better the devil you know''.

I thought revolt meant revolt. We at least are communicating, despite Halftime's correction of your word choice after checking his Funk and Wagnall's or some other source about "physical uprisings." I'll note only that your characterization of the coach's activity is made all without citing a single thing missed or any harm. Or any real knowledge of the actual coaching duties and activity, and how the AD found it acceptable. Well. Excepting a belief that it is the ghost of decisions made about Buckley and Taylor at work. You have been away too long perhaps, lost your edge, this is way below your usual support for your positions which usually rely on carefully cultivated choice of some facts, and a little logic.

Ok, but just a friendly reminder before you or any others revolt: make sure to use your real names and not your message board names. It could make you look a little silly in this endeavor.

Some people think, ''Better the devil you know''. I thought we already had a some kind of upheaval? Every University officer in sight seems to be "acting." In light of the new riot gear the Campus police have, I'd be careful about this revolt, for all I know, if the paranoia running fiercely on this board has any basis in reality, the forum is probably monitored. We may even be under martial law already. I have heard sirens all over campus and have a report just minutes ago that students are being herded into the basements around campus already. Cardfan has his pitchfork, perhaps as I write he is is barricaded in the Library, but is he safe? People who live in glass houses should not be throwing stones, I have heard.

Ohmygod. This martial law is on the news now!
My TV sound is off, but I just saw the local news with a big red warning over Delaware County and confirming reports that BSU has been under a ominous sounding "watch," and if my lip reading is right, parents are being reassured that students are being carefully taken to "safe places."
I knew we would have trouble if the general returned. Look what he has done, now.

Rob, you better stay up there where it is safe.
They are saying now this was all just a weather emergency, but I ask you.
Serious talk of revolt on the internet, followed soon after by sirens, warnings to take shelter, corralling students, forcing them into confinement, police authorities who have trained all summer wanting to try out their new equipment, and now a massive cover up with a story of severe weather, but not a drop of rain at my house. No word from cardfan who I fear was silenced despite being prepared with his pitchfork. Ominous silence by the general after an earlier brave statement repeating his call for revolt (against the counsel of his advisor halftime who tried to spin it as something else, obviously futile).
All this damning evidence, followed by a story in the morning paper with the acting President, and obvious tool of the establishment, saying he expects unnamed persons who are friendly with the BOT will be taking over in a peaceful succession of power by January.
Coincidence? Just a series of random events?
It seems the physical uprising part of the revolt may have been crushed, but nobody who has a password on this forum is safe from the conspiracy that inspired it, of that I am sure.
