In no way, shape, or form did winning that game benefit the colts. At all.
Of course now Irsay will use it as an excuse to stand pat with the clown show to ensure the Colts are even worse next year.

I'm sure they will talk it over next week and plot a new direction. .

My gut says Pagano and Grigson are gone. If they lost today, I think Irsay would've made the announcement, but is was a come from behind type of win that you love to see, and I think he wants to let people enjoy the win. Cuts in the next couple of days.

I think they're both coming back. Irsay had a chance to fire them last year and he let Pagano talk him out of it. He's too easily swayed by the emotions involved and I think he now cares more about trying to make the organization one big happy family than trying to win games.

Yeah the firing would probably have happened by now if he were going to do it. Unless a coach he absolutely wants has let it be known he'd come. (Harbaugh?)
I Think colts fans are gonna be left upset and holding the bag. Again.

Lots of speculation about Manning coming back as GM, with Gruden as HC.

Pagano press conf at 130.
Meaning he is probably not fired. I'm holding out hope that he is announcing his "retirement". This would be in line with his somewhat odd post-game comments yesterday.
On the other hand, Irsay is known to drive around Carmel at 10mph zonked on prescription meds, so he is plenty stupid enough to keep the status quo. The status quo being that the Colts are terrible enough to finish behind a bad Houston team, who had, at QB, one of the most disastrous free agent pick ups in recent memory, and who lost their all-world defensive player for the season.
I honestly think that Irsay is too brain addled to understand how the weak division and weak schedule are what allowed the Colts to escape the 5 or 6 win season that they really deserved.....despite being gifted Andrew Luck.

The win against the 3-13 Jaguars in an utterly inconsequential game was a "defining moment" and a "great moment".
STFU Chuck.

Pagano press conf at 130.
Meaning he is probably not fired. NFL rule that the owner, GM or coach must hold a press conference the day after the team's season ends. Pagano's presser checked that box. But this is still a clownshow.

And it was barely even a presser. As many wrote, it was really more of a filibuster.

When Polian left, Irsay suddenly thought he knew something about football....... and.........it was just an hallucination.
