I've gotten on the show once, though regrettably it wasn't to bash Dakich. I haven't listened to his show in about 3 years, though I'll listen to JMV every chance I get.

You gotta give him credit. He's taken a turd career and used his Bobby Knight fan base to blindly follow him to a decent paycheck. When I hit the IN line, I make sure my radio dial is nowhere close to 1070.

My favorite from Dakich is his odd contention that his coaching failure at Bowling Green was the result the MAC not being up to his high personal standards. It's also amusing listening to him claim he isn't coaching by choice, I have never heard his name associated with any opening other than him throwing out his obligatory "I am not interested in that job" bullshit. How dumb does think people are ? I can't believe he is still on the air.

He got all butt hurt and sent me a nasty e-mail one time. He bragged on his show that he never allowed himself to become "MACiified" to which I pointed out that was Bowling Green's choice not his. He has a huge ego and a massively deluded sense of self.

Well I gave it a shot and got through 12 minutes of the Dakich show before I had to shut it off. Apparently some guy sent him a critical E-Mail and Dan being the wonderful person he is e-mailed the guys place of employment in retaliation. I swear he was like listening to an irate 9 year old girl................

His whole show today is about proving he is right about Grigson and EVERYONE else is wrong. Especially local media and former players.

He is a dirt bag pos. The dude is making close to a million dollars a year (ESPN gig and 1070) sitting on his ass and literally doing nothing. Must be nice. I listened and should have known how the show was going to turn out. It is amazing to me he points out NFL personnel who supposedly agrees with him but fails to point out that the consensus was overwhelming Grigson should have gone. He talks out both sides of his mouth. There are a lot of nut cases in the world today and I am afraid he is going to piss off the wrong one and he is going to get his ass waxed. I can't believe he gets away with some of the crap he spews.

I doubt that's even close. The radio show is local only and in a lousy time slot, and ESPN honestly doesn't pay big bucks, except for their very top talent, and he only does a couple of games a month.
