Since I was unwilling to pay the Peacock blackmail, got to watch IU vs. Kansas on free TV. IU blew a 13 point lead to lose by 4. Sparks did a tremendous job of clapping on the bench but to no avail. Couldn't will his team to a victory. 0 minutes played for Mr. $250,000. As I suspected, in crucial games Sparks has fallen out of the rotation. Probably will see some future minutes in easier IU games. I’d ask what dirt Peacock has on you, but since you refused to pay the blackmail I’m sure we’ll find out soon. |

I see the game is televised on Paramount. How to watch the game if you don't have Paramount, Its on peacock as well with out those you dont watch.. Free trial perhaps Everyone will be eagerly tuning into the ‘cock to watch Ball State bust all over ISU’s season. |

ISU is pretty good this year. Toledo played them evenly on a neutral floor in November. ISU shellacked NIU on the road. BSU has a very small chance in this one (16% on ESPN). Maybe rest him another week. We are in for a rough stretch here. Will probably lose like 5 of the next 6. |

I hope "going to try" does not cause any setbacks. I'd rather he be full go for the MAC schedule. Reminds of the famous quote, “in life there are no setbacks, only failure and misery.” I think I read that in one of the programs sometime. |

We should also always try to play a directional nonconf game against an opponent with “southern” in its name so we cover all the directions. Just imagine if our bball schedule included these teams… Central Michigan Eastern Michigan Western Michigan Northern Illinois Southern Illinois Northeastern Northwestern SE Missouri St Not sure there is a DI team with SW in their name, but I’m sure there are plenty non-D1 teams that do. Schedule one of them and the. Our global domination tour would be complete! Add Middle Tennessee. |

Outside of my general and passionate rooting interest next season, I’m going to try and find odd things to look forward to with our team. Most of them will probably be unreasonable, but all theoretically possible. Starting with observation #1, we have the chance to play Miami 3 times next season(Miami FL regular season, Miami OH regular season, Miami OH MAC championship). Has any college football team played a team with the same name 3 times in a season before? and the even bigger problem, if they don’t figure it out Lewis will go somewhere that does have it figured out Exactly. I’ve been hearing Lewis is already frustrated with some things at bsu, especially in terms of the lack of a coherent NIL/financial development for basketball. I find that not surprising. We seem to be clueless in key administrative positions. Work on campus long enough, you find that out. Did he fail to do any due diligence when he took this job? |

I am sure Boogie will blow thru that $150K (if he hasn't already) before the season is over then what? What team in Europe will want a player that sat on the bench all year? These players are in for a rude awakening when their basketball days are over and need to get a real job. I’d say having already made $150k he is ahead of most of the other college kids who are in for a rude awakening when their college days are over and they have to get a real job. |

Just talked to some long time fans.. For years they have sat court side they are pretty knowledgeable and had some interesting tidbits.. First off if you have not noticed they surrounded the court with court side seats this year. In the past there had only been maybe 10-15 court side seats. At first those seats were just the cost of the seat later an additional charge of 450 dollars came along.. This year that charge for them increased to 1500 donation plus cost of seats. They also told me that Sellers received 50k to go to UCF Boogie got 150K fron Neb and sparks got 250k from IND I'd say UCF got the best deal. And Sparks is probably laughing at everyone on here questioning his decision. |

First game I’ve made it to this season and I had forgotten how entertaining Lewis is on the sideline. At half time Charlie Cardinal was high fiving the team on their way to the locker room and when he saw Lewis gesticulating angrily to an assistant coach Charlie gtfo of the way.

James Madison requested in November to be exempted from the bowl waiting period due to stepping up to FBS. NCAA told them no. Lo and behold……they are in a bowl. NCAA can’t get out of their own way. Is there a reasoning behind the waiting period? JMU is 11-1. It would be insane if 5-win Minnesota made it but 11 win JMU didnt. Unless there is some really good reason to have a waiting period that I’m missing. |
