At least we didn't lose the way Toledo lost. Complete collapse at the end. We’re all familiar with painful losses, but in my experience the “trailing big all game but taking a lead at the very end only to have the other team complete a 75 yard drive in 40 seconds” is the most painful way to lose. We did that to IU under Lembo. We led all game but IU took the lead at the very end a we kicked a long fg with 1 second left to snatch the victory back. That was a fun win. |

All game I was hoping those guys who show up after we pull a win out of our ass and act like it was a given would have a reason to show up right now. I hope those guys can show up next week.

What the hell? Steele runs the entire team down to the goal line and we decis To start passing!?!? Stupid!!! I think at the goal line Steele got stuffed on first and second. And there is no excuse for Paddock’s throw there. I’m not upset at the call. |

Off topic, but congrats to Rob, who I see has overtaken Cardfan in number of posts. Quite a feat.
Additionally, the three heaviest posters (Rob, Cardfan, and 00) equal the next 25 members in terms of volume by my rough estimate.

Sparks is going to have to work on kicking it out when he gets triple teamed. ISU was quick to send help when he had the ball and we couldn't make them pay for leaving two guys open.

I am going to try my darnedest to make it up to Muncie from Indy after work Tuesday to check out the game. When I go to games I typically am either not driving or already doing something else in Muncie. Anyone have any free parking suggestions? I can not remember how the parking situation typically works on game days. Thanks! I generally park at Worthen and walk. Check the signs as it’s the commuter lot and might not be public parking depending on the time you get there. |

One thing has changed. On the radio interview Lewis was pissed and it seems as if it was BSU’s idea to can media access after. With Whit we would have got some emotionless coach blabber I’m not positive that’s a good change. I get the “show me a good loser and I’ll show you a loser” mentality, but as a d1 bball coach you’ve got to have it together enough to talk to the media after games. If they cancelled the press conference because he was immediately coaching up the guys then fine, but if they cancelled it because he was going to act unprofessionally then damn. |
