So let’s say it is indeed Kelly. The dude has not even taken number 2 snaps this year. Why not Blazek your not going to burn a redshirt. So is the staff saying our best chance to win 1 game is Kelly. If that’s true why is he buried as the 3. You guys see where I’m going here Not even Steven Hawking could come up with the answer to that……. Perhaps as was mentioned above he’s the best choice to replace both the starting qb and the starting rb. |

The NIU qb was knocked unconscious last year the week before us but played against us. Doesn't make sense to me how that happens but it happens.

I agree with the battle of wills between Lewis and Coleman and I think Lewis will win. I think unless Coleman gets on board quickly that Jacobs is going to be key. I think Jacobs gets it.
We certainly have a lot of work to do, but I did feel like we are improved. Last year if the opponent was hitting threes like that we would have just started jacking up deep balls and that’s how you lose a game like that. This game was tough but with our lead we could afford to trade 3’s for 2’s and did a good job not going full tilt. I think that’s Lewis’ talk about winning vs scoring.

I didnt make the Earlham game, but watching Lewis on the bench is more exciting than the game. He doesnt put up with much. Stupid mistake or low effort and your replacement is hopping up off the bench.

Luke was put in a really tough spot. He was sold as basically the savior of the program before even being eligible.

IU South Bend site lists our game as exhibition. Did not see that indicated on Ball State site. Is Lewis pulling a JimmyWhit trick? I think it doesnt count for them but does for us. For all intents and purposes it’s an exhibition. |

My god imagine this board if we were in the exact position of Eastern this morning. 😂 The more amazing thing is that OUR board actually has a thread following one of THEIR players I didn't do a deep dive, but I went and checked a couple other MAC school boards and they also have threads about EMU's team. It's of interest for the entire conference. |

Miami is sitting at 4 wins with NIU tonight and BSU next Tuesday. NIU is favored by 1.5 at home, and it would be really nice if they could take Miami out of bowl eligibility for us. I think we're facing a likely loss either way, but I'd like Miami to have as little to play for as possible. Either way it will be senior night and keeping us out of a bowl should give them motivation.
