Evansville has really exposed our lack of experience, size, and talent. Ballhandling is atrocious. Defense is pathetic. Pearson awol. Jihad has scored some, but forces it every time he touches the ball - not impressed. Anderson exposed with on-ball pressure. Piss poor effort all-around.

This is on Lewis. We are not physically strong which has been a problem with this program for the last 20 years. Jihad is absolutely soft and weak physically. Have you ever seen a division one big player mishandle the ball, drop the ball, miss bunnies, drop passes and fall on the floor with little contact as this kid? He is strictly a pick and pop guy who can get to the rim when the lane is open, that is it. The offense is really bad and the loss of Sparks and company without proper replacements has hit us right in the mouth. Evansville deserves credit for playing hard and aggressive. A lot of physical and skill issues can be overcome with aggressive and physical play.

Can't finish in paint. How many times have we been beaten badly on back doors? Jihad's stats are totally misleading. He's a defensive liability - very soft. Turnover machine. Not a good FT shooter. Evansville has literally exposed EVERY weakness of ours in one game film package. |

I haven’t watched the game, but I go back to this team simply isn’t talented. Jimmy & Joes beat x & o’s and this team is going to be outmatched in games vs NAIA teams.
Could coaching improve them, yes but they are not talented unfortunately. Lewis had to know this and know this day was coming.

Didn't get to see the game, but after looking at the box score and reading comments it looks like we can't shoot, can't handle the ball, can't rebound, can't defense.
I still want to believe that Lewis is a better coach than Whitford; just don't ask me to provide any evidence.

Without a doubt that 2nd half was the worst half of basketball I’ve ever watched. This team took a huge step backwards from the ODU game. No energy or effort on either end. Lewis will need to go with more motion, screens, etc. on offense to get guys looks. We don’t have many guys who can take their man off the dribble.
Jihad tries hard, but has the worst hands. So many passes hit his hands and then the floor. Rather than bounce back with increased effort in 2nd half, it looked like we just gave up. So damn disappointing!! Next couple of practices should be interesting.
