“The community has done a great job of supporting, the students have done a great job of supporting, but we need more people within our university. We need to quit bumping up against guys in our university. This was not an easy week, and that’s all about gonna say about that. There are some things that took place this week that, quite frankly, aren’t right and need to be dealt with and need to be fixed. That took away a lot of time from a preparation standpoint.”

I haven't a clue but posting top three guesses has been fun recently. Here goes.
1. Competition for court time with other teams.
2. Mandatory body cavity searches for the team and coaches.
3. Team forced to attend a university wide Godzilla Movie Marathon.

Somebody dish some juicy gossip. I don’t think Lewis was making excuses, but wanted to send a message that whatever happened was BS and wasn’t appreciated!

Lewis is not dumb he said what he said because he wants it talked about or leaked. If not why mention it he is clealrly drawing a line in the sand with someone.

Hearing its only facility related Easy to imagine some problem with HVAC or other maintenance issues with practice facility. But we've historically had very good facilities people who put BB very high priority. All kinds of stories going back to Majerus about how people helped. Came in off hours and so on. |

Hearing its only facility related That’s what I kinda gathered but man, what are we doing if we can’t ensure our facilities are in good working condition when they’re supposed to be? And however it went down clearly rubbed Lewis extremely wrong. He’s played and coached at places where roadblocks are removed, not added. |

Not a good look for Lewis to air his dirty laundry and throw other people under the bus. Sounds like he’s making excuses for losing a game they should have won.
Facilities folks are extremely accommodating at BSU. I don’t know who Lewis has a beef with, but the guy in charge of facilities is very well-liked by pretty much everyone at the university. He’d give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

Do you guys really think that whatever pissed Lewis off happens at ucla? Iu? Texas Tech? Even Eastern Illinois? I highly doubt it. Lewis is a details person. Bsu lacks attention to details about things they don’t want to spend money on. He ends to tune that shit out now and focus only on his team and winning. Bsu is a coach killer when it comes to things like facilities and amenities and fighting the administration. The coaches who don’t care that much about that can stay forever. (Neu/whitford). Lembo went down the rabbit hole and lost focus on the mission. Lewis is making the same mistake.
This did not cost us the game. Guys not taking care of details under 2 mins did. That eats at Lewis. No excuses, they puked. The off the court stuff that’s been eating at Lewis just boiled over yesterday because it’s are also about details.
Mike needs to forget about the failings of the little things and of people in over their heads because we don’t pay for good support staff. His only job is to win and get out.

Lewis is responsible for our players on the court.
Lewis is responsible for basketball intelligence.
Lewis is responsible for players he can’t keep.
Adversity exposes character.
Ya it’s the facility’s and admin and their employees fault??? BS!
I am not impressed.
