Neither team had any depth. Players played 35 minutes average.
No wonder last minutes were chaotic. No lack of effort though,

ISU rushed shots just like BSU did at the end of close games.

ISU rushed shots just like BSU did at the end of close games. Just a little off. Mental fatigue as well as physical. Went for 3, had 3 shots last 20 seconds, even. Seton Hall could be put away with one good possession .. had the ball bounce their way, hit their shots in the late run. ISU had such good poise and patience all year, couldn't keep it together one last time.

It's a shame. They had the game won. Just needed to show a little more composure in the last 2 minutes. Fell in love with open 3pt shots. It killed them.

ISU looked like us at the end of that game. And they paid the price we're used to paying for it.

All I see is 2008 BSU football. Incredible season ending with losing the most important games and losing the coach. If they replace Schertz with a guy who has an overwhelmingly losing record as a head coach they’ll complete the car exploding as it lands in the ravine.

St. Louis paying $2M+ Indy Star reporting 4/5 starters will transfer to StLouis

In the NIL era, would an interviewing coach be negotiating money for “potential” transferring players to follow him while negotiating his own job?

So the ISU model is the best we can aspire to? Instead of having a mediocre year and half the team leaving piecemeal, we can have an outstanding year and the coach packages himself and entire team to go to the next level. Either way, we are screwed for anything past 12 months.
Doesn't really give one much of a reason to be a fan of a mid-major basketball program anymore.
