We seem to not have the money to buy out Mike's contract. What about the $1.6 million we got to play Georgia instead of paying Army? Sherman, any idea where the money goes? |

Emu qb was 9 of 25 passing today. They won. Why? Because they’re well coached and have players who can make plays, and a tough D. We can win with Kelly at qb even if he’s not a good passer. BUT, we can’t claim being well coached or that we have other guys who can make plays. The d isn’t bad but it goes in the tank at really bad times. They also housed the opening kickoff on an onside botch from Kent. That helped them. |

Kelly does appear to have the “it” factor. He made the plays that needed to be made. Barfield makes that catch and we’re maybe going for 2 to win or at least taking them to OT. Toledo is one of the best in the MAC. A lot of that wasnt pretty, but it’s better than I expected.

One thing I’m noticing is that on 3rd down Toledo goes for enough yards to get a first down. The refs are letting them get away with it, so I think we should try it.

The idea I am going with is that Kelly is an NFL caliber QB that Neu has kept under wraps to humiliate his arch-rival, Toledo. His hatred of Toledo has lead him to tank the first half of this season to lure them into a false sense of security. He has purposefully not let Kelly throw so that Toledo will be completely unprepared.

The hell did Mike give UT a heads up for? That was idiotic. Not if you know the actual plan. We’re actually going to start Hatcher and run the same offense we’ve run for the past 8 years. But those fools in Toledo are going to be expecting RPO! It’s brilliant. Just don’t tell anyone. |

During the end of whitford a couple of us were called to Beths office for conduct detrimental to the image of ball state sports. It was scary That’s hilarious. What was more detrimental, extending Whitford, or anything you could have said or done? |

Thats what we are up against.. Now Utah is having great success right now but that has not always been the case. We went after a couple of the same kids last year.. They chose Utah They chose wisely. |

Losing to EMU in any sport under any circumstances is unacceptable. Their athletic program is a glorified rec program. This loss will be painful.
