MAC ESPN dealThe above linked article says MAC schools get about $670K a year from the espn tv deal. This would cover a bit less that 7% of the yearly deficit that the MAC football programs create for their schools. This is the reward that MAC schools get for pimping out their football teams into these godforsaken time slots to fill blank spots in espn's programming schedule. I’m not sure I’m following your argument. I would think you would want the schools scraping the bottom of every barrel to offset those costs. Are you saying the schools should reject that 7% offset so the fans can enjoy Saturday afternoon games? |

I always had a funny feeling about our loss at Michigan*. Now it's explained. Apparently they had our signs. I wonder if the NCAA will have the balls to make this right and vacate that result.

I would probably not give the school itself any money. But I would do things to support the students. If we have a chess club I would make sure it was well funded and had nice purses for tournaments. If we dont have a chess club I would create one.
I’d also find some stuff to help the architecture students. Great school and those kids work their tails off.

I’ll admit that I get Dackitch every once in a while. I just take a good shower and dry everything off really well and it goes away on its own.

Has anyone seen a delay of game by the defense before today? The LT hung his head for his false start and the refs huddled up and bailed him out. One of Central’s drives was like 60% accomplished by the refs. |
