Admittedly, I thought Linc Darner had some coaching “upside” left in him and hoped that he could have some positive influence on us while he was here. That being said, his replacement at Green Bay is now 15-57 and has the Phoenix crashing and burning to #358 in his 3rd season. Oh, and Green Bay is still paying Darner this year. Only his third season? Too soon to judge. Give him a 6 year extension and then we should have some data. |

Based on Lewis’ preseason comments on scheduling I think he really wants to focus on good teams from Indiana and our neighbors. I dont know what sticking points would arise, but I think he’d really want Butler on the schedule.

Student section was better but could be so much more. We need them at every game raising hell. Kudos to the Miami students who sat up high on the student section. When one of them banged on the bleacher backs it was booming. Take note BSU students. Yeah I said to my buddy the next Miami free throw our entire student section needs to go up and wail on those bleachers. |

None of the other conference games broke 2,000 today. Worthen should be the toughest place to play.

A woman next to me in the ticket line told the ticket office this was her first game in years. I brought an old roommate of mine who said this was his first game since we were students.
Good crowd but not very engaged in the second half.

honestly, I'm not sure the million dollar check will be worth the national humiliation. Yeah, I can't believe they're paying us that much to humiliate them. I'd have thought we'd have done it for free! |

If we beat or come within 40 points of Georgia I will kiss your ass on the courthouse steps and give you a half hour to draw a crowd. I see an Auburn game that we had after we suspended all those players a few years ago. As I remember I believe they scored every time the had the ball. It was a disaster. Boy, are you in for a surprise. Fowler and Herbstreit were already predicting Georgia will go undefeated again next season. Neu purposefully hid Kelly this year and got us that extra month's rest so that we can surprise Georgia and rock the foundations of college football! |

It will be close. Question is, if we win convincingly, what will our expectations be rest of the year? I guess we cross that bridge when we come to it! Athens is always difficult place to play on road. Can't wait for tonight! Cards 80 Ohio 71 If we win tonight I think we are clearly a championship contender and any further losses other than on the road to the other top teams (e.g. Kent, Akron) would be disappointing. |
