The last stretch of games was very hard even if were playing well. Oh please......................................... Oh Please yourself, my friend. Toledo, Kent, Eastern on the road is a tough trip in the last 4. In fact before BG, we had 8 games with 6 on the road, including our toughest games.

What difference does it make. Our choice is the CIT or the CBI or the FBI or the CIA or the IRS or the DOD or the DEA or the ATF........No will remember or care five minutes after we are defeated in the first round

What difference does it make. Our choice is the CIT or the CBI or the FBI or the CIA or the IRS or the DOD or the DEA or the ATF........No will remember or care five minutes after we are defeated in the first round This is actually not just a totally accurate observation, but may just be part of an excuse for the AD to pass the buck to the coach. If the cost to the University is small and you can let the coach have the decision, maybe that counts as a plus to him and you support and reward him at low cost. Assuming you want to do that! In most cases coaches would like to have more coaching time and more competition. You are giving him more power, respecting his priorities. Having said that, I thought it was a poor choice last year with Moses injured, and everyone very tired after a good effort in the MAC. It was hard to see how this was going to be enough benefit and how it would be significant. Sure in the abstract, I liked the chance to play IPFW, but without Moses it was much less likely we get that win. I'll admit, perhaps had we won over IPFW, seen Teague play well and the team enjoying the wins, we would not have seen it as such waste of time. Since I don't really see this as a big deal, let the AD make the call. This year, conceivably there would be a different vibe, smaller negatives, something to gain. I don't see it right now, but who knows?

That's the point. Probably either way we look at it.

If one can't coach all of October, all of November, all of December, all of January, all of February, and part of March what makes you think ten more practices after getting a beating in one of the embarrassing alphabet soup ''tournaments'' will make a difference?

Nope. After two pay to play tournaments in a row, it’s time for this program to shit or get off the pot. Our only chance this year is winning the tournament. Buffalo has a legitiment chance of an NIT bid if they get to the MAC Tournament final game though yesterday’s loss hurt a lot.

Too harsh to say we haven't seen any coaching. This year a very hard year with so many personnel changes. Literally day 1 to now. Whit forced to make a lot of adjustments, get team that has been rattled to adopt them get comfortable with them. I rate that part of his coaching as pretty good.

''Part of his coaching'', a very small part.
